Hi guys!
My name is Meredith Breen and I am a strategic communications graduate student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I am an aspiring communications and public relations professional with a passion for digital storytelling. I value authenticity, integrity and empathy, and strive to embody these traits in everything I do. Keep reading to learn more about the story behind the storyteller.
My Story
I am originally from Jensen Beach, Florida, a small beach town about an hour north of West Palm Beach, Florida. I grew up in a sports-loving household with my parents, little brother (who's not so little anymore) and our golden retrievers. I followed in my mom's footsteps and attended THE Florida State University where I studied media and communications. Go Noles! I currently live in Carrboro, North Carolina, and attending graduate school for strategic communications at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
In my free time I can be found at sporting events, concerts, bookstores and coffee shops. More times than not, I'm hanging out with my family, friends or boyfriend (Hi Brenden!). I'm a people person that values a strong sense of community and believes that adventures are more fun when you have someone to share it with.
The most important thing to know about me is that I am a storyteller at heart. I wrote my first book in kindergarten and never looked back. As I've gotten older, writing books and drawing pictures has evolved into copywriting and creating digital content. From writing luxury real estate blogs to academic interviews, I view myself as a "write-it-all" kind of gal. This website, especially "A Meredith Minute", originated as an outlet for myself to express my creativity and continue to develop my storytelling abilities.
Happy reading!
